At 1:40 p.m., an MBTA commuter train collided with a truck at a railway crossing on the Stoughton Line. The truck was pushed down the tracks and wedged against a fence.

The train’s operating company, Keolis, has stated that the warning system was fully operational during the accident. The truck driver managed to escape unharmed, whereas a passenger on the train sustained minor injuries and was treated at a hospital.
Service Disruptions
The accident led to considerable delays on the Stoughton Line, affecting public transportation. Services resumed regular operation before 10 p.m. the same day.

Due to the incident, two trains were halted, and one train was canceled. Passengers were advised to take alternate routes, and shuttle buses were provided between Canton Center station and Stoughton to facilitate travel.
